Determining Order Flow [FVG+IFVG]
Our flagship strategy combines Fair Value Gaps (FVG) and Inverse Fair Value Gaps (IFVG) to determine true order flow direction. This is the foundation of ICT trading methodology.
What is a Fair Value Gap?
A Fair Value Gap is an imbalance in price action created when price moves so aggressively that it leaves a "gap" — a range where no trading occurred. The market tends to return to fill these gaps.
📐 FVG Formation Rules
- Bullish FVG: The low of candle 3 is higher than the high of candle 1
- Bearish FVG: The high of candle 3 is lower than the low of candle 1
- The middle candle (candle 2) creates displacement
What is an Inverse Fair Value Gap?
An IFVG occurs when a previously bullish FVG gets violated to the downside (or vice versa). This signals a potential change in order flow direction and often marks the beginning of a new trend.
🔄 IFVG Significance
When price returns to an FVG and fails to respect it — instead breaking through — the FVG becomes "inverted." This is a powerful signal that institutional order flow has shifted.

Exit Strategy
- TP1: Previous swing high/low (50% position)
- TP2: Next liquidity pool (remaining 50%)
- Stop Loss: Below/above the FVG that triggered entry
The highest probability setups occur when an FVG aligns with an Order Block on the higher timeframe. Look for confluence!
Optimal Trade Entry [Silver Bullet]
The Silver Bullet strategy targets the Optimal Trade Entry (OTE) zone during specific high-volume windows. It's designed to catch the move when smart money repositions during peak hours.
What is Optimal Trade Entry?
OTE is the 61.8% - 79% Fibonacci retracement zone of a recent swing. ICT teaches that this is where institutions place their orders for the best risk-to-reward entries.
🎯 The OTE Sweet Spot
- 62% — Start of the OTE zone
- 70.5% — Optimal entry level
- 79% — Deep discount (higher risk, higher reward)
Silver Bullet Time Windows
The Silver Bullet specifically targets three high-probability windows during the NY session:

- 10:00 - 11:00 AM: NY Open Silver Bullet
- 2:00 - 3:00 PM: PM Session Silver Bullet
- 3:00 - 4:00 AM: London Open Silver Bullet

Silver Bullet setups are ONLY valid during the specified time windows. Trades outside these windows have significantly lower win rates.
